Line of 4K Desktop Displays Are Perfect for Design, Architectural, Manufacturing and Financial Services Industries
Las Vegas, January 6, 2015 — Westinghouse Electronics, one of the leading display manufacturers in the U.S., will be launching its latest generation of 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) professional desktop displays including the a 34” curved version at 2014 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NV, January 6-19, 2015 at the Westgate Las Vegas, Hospitality Suite 573.

Ultra HD resolution displays are the perfect solution for design and architectural offices where intricate, complex CAD designs can be viewed in crisp, sharp detail. The financial services industry can benefit from UHD desktop displays by reducing the number of monitors needed in a workspace. Screens can be split into 4 separate high definition, 1080p images, providing clarity for spreadsheets, website and other data applications.
The latest generation Westinghouse lineup of UHD (4K) desktop monitors are available in 28”, and 40” options plus a curved 34” version. The 40” and 28” version features 16×9 widescreen aspect ratios and the highest picture quality currently achievable in the video market at eight (8)
times the resolution of current 1080p monitors. The 34” curved version features a 21×9 aspect ratio.
Westinghouse Digital’s 4K UHD displays provide a number of key features designed for commercial applications. Supporting resolutions up to 4086x 2160 pixels @ 60 Hz, the full line features the ability to upscale standard definition, high definition or full high definition content. The displays can be mounted in portrait or landscape mode for a wide range of commercial applications. Incorporated connections include DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.0 and dual link DVI-D input, allowing seamless connectivity options for all. The 34” Curved version supports 3340×1440 pixels and includes DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.0 and dual link DVI-D input as well. The displays feature a robust enclosure and are protected by a standard, 1-year warranty.
