Full Line Of Next Generation 4K LEDs Includes Smart TV Option
Las Vegas, NV, January 6, 2015 — Westinghouse Electronics, one of the leading LED TV manufacturers in the U.S., will show its next generation of 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) LED televisions including a Smart TV version at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NV, January 6-19, 2015 at the Westgate Las Vegas, Hospitality Suite 573.
Equipped with advanced technologies, the next generation 4K line of TVs will range in sizes from 42-inch to 85-inch screens and will display true, native 4K. Plus consumers will have the option to purchase a 4K UHD Smart TV from Westinghouse. Designed to handle 4K content from streaming services like Netflix, Westinghouse televisions will be equipped with the latest HEVC codec as well as HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0. Westinghouse knows upgrading to a new TV technology is a big commitment and is dedicated to providing the latest chipsets and technology currently available to its customers.

The new Westinghouse lineup of UHD native 4K displays consists of six models ranging from 42-inches to a large format 85-inch perfect for those larger rooms. All feature 16×9 widescreen aspect ratios and the highest picture quality currently achievable in the video market at 3840 x 2160 pixels of resolution. This is quadruple times the resolution of today’s best 1080p high
definition displays, or four times the number of pixels. All models are capable of displaying native 4K content and also can up convert lower resolution content to 4K.
The Westinghouse 85”, 75”, 55”, 50” and 42” 4K Ultra HD Televisions including the Smart TV option and will be available at the beginning of Q2 2015. Pricing starts at $599 for the 42” Smart TV version with the 50” at $849, 55” at $1199, 65” at $1699, 75” at $5,499 and 85” at $8,499 all with Smart TV capabilities.
